Echo Red to Red
March
6: This is an event much like the 'Burn' where a small town and a
core group of mountain bikers have put together one great race.
The course has a ton of classic desert single track that starts
and finishes in downtown Echo. I was there last year and had a
blast. I'm headed back again and encourage everyone else to
support this race.
Devils Slide
March
28: This is another great early spring race in the Inland
Northwest. A good chance to get out and test the race legs in the
early spring. I have raced this one a few times and always
enjoy.
Spokane 24hr race
May 29-30: Riding a bicycle for 24 hours isn't hard, trying to be taken seriously when you have a mustache is.
Cascade Cream Puff
July
11: I am officially registered for the 2010 Puff, billed as
"America's toughest 100 mile mountain bike race", don't try to talk me
out of it, seriously...
East Side Epic
September 4: 60+ miles, 8,000' elevation gain, 90% rippin' singletrack, count me in!
Methow Valley Fall Bike Festival
October
1-3 The Methow Valley has some of the best cycling anywhere, add
to that the fall colors and this is one of the best races of the year
in my opinion.
